u4gm Where to Get Power Charges in PoE2 No Heavy Stun Needed

I didn't expect PoE 2 early access to eat my evenings, but it did. And like a lot of people, I bought into the "heavy stun solves charges" idea at first. It's loud, it's satisfying, and the bar fills up fast in the campaign. Then endgame shows up and laughs at you. Red maps and big bosses don't care about your timing, and stun thresholds climb so high you're basically gambling your whole damage loop. If you're already trying to get a build online without the slow ramp, having a stash of POE 2 Currency for sale can smooth out that awkward gearing phase while you swap into something that actually holds up.

Why Heavy Stun Falls Apart
The problem isn't that heavy stun is "bad" on paper. It's that it asks for a perfect moment, and PoE doesn't hand those out. You miss a window, the boss moves, you get clipped, and suddenly your charges are gone and you're tickling the target. That's the part that feels awful: you're punished twice, once for losing uptime and again for needing to stand close enough to even try. In map clears it can still pop off, sure, but against anything that matters you start playing scared, and that's where builds die.

The Boring Option That Actually Works
Power Charge on Critical Strike is the fix I keep coming back to. It's not cute, and it doesn't make clips, but it's steady. If you're on Sorceress or Ranger, you're probably stacking crit anyway, so it slides in without forcing your whole tree to change. Once you're sitting around that 60–70% crit range, charges stop being a "thing you manage" and become background noise. The only mild annoyance is the first few packs in a fresh map. After that, you're cruising, and you can focus on dodging instead of praying for a stun.

Resonance and Combat Frenzy Tech
If you want something more modern, Resonance is the sleeper pick. Turning Frenzy charges into Power charges sounds simple, but it opens up safer play. Combat Frenzy generating charges off elemental ailments means you can play from range and still stay stacked. Shock, freeze, whatever your setup naturally does—now it feeds your charge engine. It feels especially clean on elemental projectile builds, where you're already applying ailments constantly. No face-tanking, no waiting for a boss to "let you" interact.

High-Budget Uptime Without the Drama
Badge of the Brotherhood is still the luxury answer, mainly because rare monsters are everywhere in endgame mapping. When your charges refill off rares, your momentum stays intact, and the build feels way less stop-start. The catch is obvious: price, rolls, and the usual crafting heartbreak. If you'd rather skip the whole weeks-long slog and just get to playing the version of the build you actually planned, a lot of folks use u4gm for currency and item purchases so they can finish key upgrades and keep their charge setup consistent without living in trade chat.
