New Mechanic + Old Trick: How I Stocked 10 Divines via Ritua

When I first heard Ritual was returning to Path of Exile 2, I didn’t think much of it. But after a bit of testing and tweaking, I found a way to farm PoE 2 currency that turned into one of my most reliable Divine Orb generators this league. Within just seven days, I made over 10 Divine Orbs, all through smart use of Ritual mechanics, smart map rolling, and a few tricks from the old days. Here's exactly how I did it.

The core of this strategy is simple: stack value through Ritual rewards, then target farm valuable PoE 2 currency drops. But what really makes it work in PoE 2 is the new loot weighting system and how Ritual interacts with league-specific loot pools. Here's a step-by-step breakdown of how I pulled it off.

1. Choose the Right Maps
Start with T14–T16 maps with open layouts like Dunes, Crimson Township, or Jungle Valley. These layouts make it easy to clear and keep Ritual altars close together. Use Sextants and Scarabs to increase pack size and Ritual density.

Add these map mods:

“Players have increased quantity of items”

“Area contains Ritual altars”

“Monsters drop additional currency items” (if you can roll it)

Use Polished or Gilded Ritual Scarabs. If you can afford it, Winged Ritual Scarabs supercharge the setup. They help maximize Tribute, which you’ll need for high-end rewards.

2. Build for Clear Speed
Speed is key here. You want a build that can clear trash mobs quickly and safely. I personally used an Explosive Arrow Ballista Raider, but anything with high AoE and mobility will work. This lets you kill fast, start Rituals quickly, and repeat them without delay.

3. Re-roll Your Ritual Rewards
Once you finish all four Ritual altars in a map, don't rush. Check the rewards. You’ll often see low-value items at first—but this is where the old trick comes in: use your Tribute to reroll the reward pool.

By rerolling, you're increasing your chances to get:

Divine Orbs

Exalted Orbs

Blessed and Regal Orbs

High-tier maps and Delirium Orbs

Occasionally, valuable uniques

This is where I consistently found Divine Orbs and stacked currency rewards. Sometimes even bundles worth 2–3 Divines in a single map.

4. Save for Later
Another cool feature is the “defer” option. If you don’t have enough Tribute to buy a reward immediately, defer it, then come back to it in later maps. This helped me secure two Exalted Orbs and one Cluster Jewel worth 4 Divines over several maps.

5. Sell Smart and Reinvest
I sold some of the loot I couldn’t use directly, including a stack of 3x Divine Orbs I got on day four. If you're looking to buy PoE 2 currency with your profits or fill in crafting gaps, check out u4gm—they have fast delivery and it helped me grab key items for my build upgrades.

Final Tips
Don’t waste Tribute on low-value gear.

Always check for Ritual Nodes on the Atlas Passive Tree.

Convert your excess PoE 2 currency into map rolling materials or invest in Essences and Scarabs.

This method is easy to understand, low risk, and scales well with investment. Whether you're a new player or a seasoned PoE veteran, Ritual is back—and it’s stronger than ever. With the right setup, you can farm Divine Orbs consistently, and even turn it into your main PoE 2 currency strategy.

Give it a try. You might be surprised how many Divines are waiting in those altars.
